By experience, As an Underground SoundCloud Rapper,. It's hard to capture an ear with your lyrics knowing people are more interested in the production/beat.
The following has happened to us all or to most of us. Ever asked someone to listen to your music and the only thing they've given you feedback on is the production? Maybe the mix was the reason as to why they didn't provide you feedback..? Or its possible the listener doesn't have any interest in lyrics or simply don't care much about the genre you're into.
